ICEEfest invites you to the movie: Life in Digital Age @ Grand Cinema & More

ICEEfest și ShortsUP put toghether a selection of Internet related international short films that will run at the cinema from Baneasa Shopping City (tickets are available here), every day from June 2 to 10.

The project is part of the entertainment concept that ICEEfest (June 9&10) prepared for you.

How to survive online? Great adventures, love stories, conspiracies and revelations about virtual reality in some great award-winning short films selected by Shorts Up. You can watch them each day starting 6 PM in the VIP Area (free access for all ICEEfest attendees).

Let’s see some examples:

  • Noah (directed by Patrick Cederberg & Walter Woodman, Canada, 2013): the most intense 17 minute on Facebook and Chatroulette in a short film awarded @ Clermont Ferrand Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival
  • Time Freak (directed by Andrew Bowler, USA, 2011): got an Oscar nomination. Tells the story of an physicist who dreams to travel in his own life timeline. With the purpose to correct his disappointments
  • World of Tomorrow (directed by Don Hertzfeldt, USA, 2015): received 44 international awards; give answers at some of the most fundamental existential questions
  • A Senior Moment (directed by Michelle Davidson, USA, 2012) and Pony Place (directed by Joost Reijmers, Netherlands 2014): 2 comedies about the differences between generations when we talk about internet and the compromises you have to do in order to keep up with technology
