Meet some of the most creative minds that are joining ICEEfest in 2016

Let’s take a look at the truly inspirational setlist that ICEEfest is proposing this year for the festival’s sessions focused on creativity.

Albert Einstein

Franc Cheetham: he comes to the Google Zoo team from having worked more than 15 years in the industry leading award winning global digital campaigns, creative and production teams as a Art Director, Designer, Creative and UX Designer. During his time at Google he has worked on creative led projects for brands such as Bvlgari, Google Play, Kenzo, Samsung, Louvre Abu Dhabi, VW, Coca Cola and Chanel. Currently on the jury of Awwwards for the second time in his career.

Anthony Baker: since joining R/GA in 2011, Anthony – our returning speaker in 2016 – has been promoting modern development practices through fast-paced and highly productive creative prototyping, which are changing the way digital solutions are scoped, created and delivered.

Additionally, he also leads the R/GA London’s Lab, where digital interactions are explored in the physical space, providing an ideal space for new business and client strategy conversations.

Damola Timeyin: strategist at BBH Live, one of the world’s most famous creative advertising agencies. BBH has offices in London, New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai and LA and employs 1000 staff worldwide. He did brand, digital and social strategy for Old El Paso, Tesco, British Airways, Clarks, Virgin Media, The Guardian, Heinz and KFC.

Winner of the HTC Community Project in 2012, he worked as a strategist for Albion London and Dare, two other companies from the UK capital. This was BBH’s vision for Audi R8:

Horacio Chacho Puebla: CCO / Partner / Friend at LOLA MullenLowe, a creative and strategic hub of the MullenLowe Group with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon.

Bas van den Beld: he is the founder of State of Digital, one of Europe’s largest online marketing and SEO learning platforms.

He worked with big brands, like KLM and Viacom, to develop solid marketing strategies based on the innate understanding of the needs and behaviors of their customers.

Energy and enthusiasm are some of the key ingredients of his presentations.

Mark Aris: he co-created the 4 Wise Monkeys, one of the fastest growing creative agencies in Greece. This is a great campaign for Cutty Sark:

With an impressive portfolio of global and local clients (Mondelez, Carlsberg Group, Nissan, Coca Cola Hellenic etc.) and 32 major national and international advertising awards in less than 2 years, the 4 Wise Monkeys have set out to prove that “Yes, there is such a thing as advertising that consumers … actually enjoy”.

Mark is also a university professor of Advertising and Marketing, as well as the co-organizer and DJ of the biggest non-profit New Year’s Eve party in Greece, 15 years in a row!

Salvatore Iaconesi: he is an engineer, artist, hacker and interaction designer. He is a TED Fellow (2012), Eisenhower Fellow (since 2013), Yale World Fellow (2014) and teaches Interaction Design and Digital Design at Rome’s University “La Sapienza”, at ISIA Design Florence, at RUFA, Rome University of Fine Arts, at IED, Istituto Europeo di Design.

Catalin Nastasoiu: in 2001, he moved to United States where he worked as a graphic designer. He also has a great experience in marketing, product/ brand communication development area.

He collaborated with Paramount Pictures, New York University, Production Resources Inc., Loews Communications, HKM Productions, R&R Live and Canon. In 2010, he created Ronativ, a movement that started from a discussion about Romania’s image in the world.

David Sandström: is the CEO of DDB Stockholm, one of the most praised communications agencies in Europe. David took the hot seat as CEO in 2012 at age 30, making him one of the youngest network agency heads of all time. David is born in the United States, grew up in Germany and moved to Sweden at age 16. This gave him a unique understanding of how human nature transcends the nation state.

Daniel Spicer: as Social Business Director for Palladium Digital, he is responsible for helping their clients accelerate customer engagement and innovation through social media, community development and internal collaboration. He frequents the speaking circuit with the aim of helping organizations of all sizes embrace the transformative power of Social Business.

Lazaros Nikiforidis: Deputy Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather Greece, he’s got an impressive CV: Cannes Lions Finalist Awards, Epica Awards, New York Festivals, The FWA, Golden Drum, Golden Award of Montreux, Adprint, Ermis Awards, Effie Awards, EBGE, Luerzer’s Archive, Young Lions Competition National Winner. Ogilvy & Mather is one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world.

Geoff Desreumaux: is the founder and Editor-in-Chief at WeRSM, the fastest growing international website dedicated to social media marketing. Geoff is also the head of social media at Lexis, a London based advertising agency and a visiting lecturer at the University of Greenwich.

Norm Johnston: joined Mindshare in 2007 as CEO of their Interaction digital specialists group in EMEA. Norm is currently responsible for leading Mindshare’s global digital specialists as well as managing the company’s strategy business division, a combined team of over 2,000 staff in 115 cities around the world delivering work for global clients such as Unilever, Nestle, Jaguar Land Rover, Chanel, and American Express.

Eric Parks: Co-founder of an internationally funded startup and Director of digital strategy and innovation at the leading Greek media advertising agency Tempo-OMD. Previous head of digital at Leo Burnett Athens and The Newtons Laboratory. Active in startup advising and consulting. Extensively involved at creating digital experiences, campaigns and games from social to mobile and from inception to administering as a property and throughout the whole product life cycle. Experience at working remotely and internationally with clients ranging from local to multinational (P&G, Diageo, IKEA, Philip Morris, OTE).
