iCEE.health supports medical education. This time, we call on all surgery enthusiasts to come to Bucharest, soon

“A wave of healthcare innovation in healthcare is coming. We are at the point where technologies and innovations are becoming so available and affordable, but what it’s harder to change is culture. Sustainable health innovation has to start with education. Luckily, digital is here to help” Lorena Macnaughtan, iCEE.health Director

Once is not enough

iCEE.health 2017 is ready for you on iCEE.academy. All of it, all for you to explore and spread the word, because iCEE.health 2016 presentations are free… Do abuse the hashtags #iceehealth #iceefest 😉

To renew healthcare, include education

One of the most acclaimed speakers at this edition was Professor Shafi Ahmed, the most viewed surgeon in history, who talked about medical education and how the digital is changing it. And medical students love digital too…

We were happy that we had many students in the audience, but also to hear that word about what happened at iCEE.health 2017 spread amongst medical students.

Happier even to hear that only a week from today, August 19th – 23rd, right here, in the heart of Bucharest, at the Palace of the Parliament, the Romanian Student Society of Surgery is hosting one of the most anticipated student surgical events of the year — The 2017 International Association of Student Surgical Societies (IASSS) Symposium, which brings extraordinary keynote speakers.

Check out all the amazing speakers and the agenda, which offers ample opportunities for hands on training in thirteen areas.

We call on all surgery enthusiasts to join them in Bucharest to meet some of the best surgeons in the world, get hands-on surgical training, and become part of the largest community of surgery enthusiasts!

Innovation starts with a sense of unsettling with the status quo. We, at iCEE.health, are proud of the Romanian Student Society for Surgery, SSCR, who is embracing… digital ;-)… innovation and excellence in medical education and is determined to break barriers.

The event runs under the theme “Overcoming Barriers” and provides surgical education for students, whilst being an opportunity to network with surgical societies around the globe and to challenge any constraints in surgery – geographical, cultural, or language related. Hear what they say, don’t believe us.

Keep informed on SSCR’s Facebook page… give it a like.
